Sick again ?
Yesterday, Jolyne was stopped at the school gate because she registered a temperature of 37.3 degrees. KA quickly rushed home after sending me to work. But when taking her temperature again, it was at 37.1 deg, then consistently below 36.8 deg. What frightened me more was that Jayden vomitted twice in the morning !!!!
Luckily, he had no fever, and no more vomitting after the morning episodes, so we decided that he could have introduced some germs into his mouth after crawling on the floor.
Well, as the school needed a clearance letter from a doctor to declare that Jolyne is in perfect state of heath, KA brought her to ESMC to see Dr Low. To minimise the risk of being infected unknowingly, he waited till 2pm when the clinic was re-opened for the afternoon, so that they could be the first patient. Heard that the hosptial has set up a kiosk to take temperature at the lobby area, and those with fever will not be allowed upstairs !!! Well, though I'm surprised with such measures, it's actually good to see that a private hospital, small as it is, is taking extra steps to curb spreading of SARS. Luckily, KA brought along our ear thermometer. Can't bear the thought of using the shared thermometer at this point of time *yucks* !!!
As for Jolyne and Jayden, they remained perfectly well for the rest of the day. But for me, *urrgghh* am having a slight sore throat now !!!!
