Fumigation
Our office was called for emergency fumigation again
. I was called early in the morning not to come to office until noon. Later, HR informed us that one secretary was down with fever last evening after coming into contact with a TTSH doctor on Saturday. I can sense that many people in the office are nervous now, especially those sitting around her. Every where I go, people are talking about it, at the corridor, washroom, pantry, etc. Really hope it's a false alarm, cos she's quite a nice lady. Anyway, as a precaution, I'll start monitoring my temperature.
Jayden is starting to get clingy nowadays. I think it's a sign of separation anxiety. As he grows, he becomes increasingly aware of the surrounding and gets anxious when I pass him to Venus (our maid) or leave the room. This morning as I was leaving the house for work, he watched me go and I could see that he was on the verge of tears. I remember the hard time I had with Jolyne's separation anxiety at the age of one. She would wail and howl and cling on to me every morning when I left home
. I know the answer to it is to have a quick good-bye, and this stage will sooner or later be over. But still, I dread for it to come. I really really can't bear to hear Jayden cries.
