Fever
Why must this always happen ? Just when I happily noticed that we are healthy for the longest period of time, thanks to the heightened hygiene awareness and the extra precautionary measures, Jolyne fell ill. She was sent back from school this morning after registering a temperature of 38 degrees. I really do not understand why. The only place she goes is school, no where else. And the school takes the kids' temperature everyday thrice, so surely it couldn't be from the school, could it? Isn't any kid who is ill barred from school? If not school, where else? And, come to think about it, is it a virus attack at all? WHAT COULD IT BE ??? Cos so far, she displays no symptoms - no cough, no sneeze, no runny nose, nothing. Luckily, KA has taken the day off to be at home with her. I'm praying hard that it is not some sickening virus, but just a bout of common flu. Whatever it is, I'm crossing my fingers that it would not be passed to Jayden.
