Saturday
In the morning, had a panic when I couldn't figure out how to do Jolyne's Yamaha JMC's homework. You see, KA was usually the one who attended the class with Jolyne and coached her, being the musically-trained one. Her class had progressed beyond my basic knowledge of do-re-mi, and when it comes to reading the notes, I'm really clueless. What's more, this homework required her to fill in the chord (left hand) of a music piece! Luckily, KA called and helped me through phone and the digital pic I emailed him. I finally managed to figure out the head and tail of it, and guided Jolyne through *phew*. This must be the most expensive piece of homework we ever did !

After class, me and Jolyne had some snacks at Secret Recipe. I ordered a cheesecake for myself and a colourful Smarties ice-cream for her. The cheesecake was so yummy that she 'helped' me to eat 3/4 of it, and couldn't finish her ice-cream (which was actually quite a huge portion).

We did some shopping after that. Plaza Singapura (where our class was) was hopelessly crowded, (I guess) due to the opening of the NEL, so I gave it a miss. We strolled over to Centrepoint, where I bought a pair of sandals for myself from Royal Sporting House. Quite a good deal due to Great Singapore Sales. Then we popped into an empty salon where Jolyne got a haircut. Afterwhich, we went over to John Little to replenish Jayden's baby food, and was pleasantly surprised that they were having a 15% sales.

These photos are for you, KA ...
