Developmental Update
Communication
Jayden's vocabulary had increased recently. These include :
ah-pa - papa
ma - mama
ah-ma - granny
cheh - jie-jie (sister)
ah-ba - apple
One thing though, this boy needs to have a reason to speak. Like when he wants people to carry him, he'll call you out sweetly. Last night, he woke up in the cot and called out 'ma' for me to bring him to our bed. Otherwise, he keeps mum and give a 'bo-chap' look, no matter how much we prompt him. Cool huh. He does understand us most of the time, much more than he can express himself verbally. For that we can thankfully rule out hearing problem.
Besides speech, I'm also teaching him baby sign, which he picked up quite a few, like dog, book.

Physical
He's not walking on his own yet (just a step or two is not counted right?), but if he holds on to someone's hand, he walks pretty well and fast. His legs are rather wobbly and MIL commented that they are weak. My observation is he somehow had developed a fear for falling, perhaps because of some painful experience? Well, hopefully, he can walk by end of July.

Social
Enjoys action songs very much ! It's so funny to watch him imitating us when singing 'This Old Man' or 'Itsy Bitsy Spider', never fail to fetch a smile to us.
Oh, his most self-entertaining game must be throwing game. He would grab whatever in sight and throw it down the floor for the plong/thud/piang sound (depending on what the unfortunate object is), which delights him. His favourite object ? Ah-ma's remote control!
Also starts to display signs of separation anxiety too (think I mentioned before).
