Finally finished a trashy novel...

It's embarassing. I took 3 whole weeks to complete a 293-page book. Not that the book is uninteresting, else I would not even have finished the first chapter. The thing is, I could only spare time to read it on my 45-min MRT ride Mon to Fri - that worked out to be about 2.3 min per page. It's embarassingly slooooowwwww.
OK, back to the book. In one sentence, it's an old-fashion love story in modern setting. On the whole, the story is quite enjoyable and hilarious. The plot, frankly, is a little unreal. I think the author must have exaggerated the life of upper-middle class Londoners quite a bit, or do they really live life so extravagantly ? And the ending is nothing fascinating and out-of-expectation either.
That said, I do enjoy the author's witty and humourous writing style. May go for the sequel Ten Steps to Happiness if it's available in the library.
Wish I can get hold of the book Baby Catcher ! I've been wanting to read it since last year. Why so badly ? Cos it has a nice cover!
Signing off now with a picture of cheeky Jayden.
"Where's my hand? I *swear* it was here just now!"
