Updates
I'm really not in the mood to post a lengthy entry here. Jolyne is suspected of having dengue fever, and I'm dead worried. She had roller-coaster fever since Friday night and rashes all over her body since yesterday. KA brought her to Dr. Low this morning, and he told him that his 2 daughters got it too (Dr. Low is our neighbour). So it's quite likely to be dengue, though we are still waiting for the blood test result.

Since I've already written this on my palm, must as well post it.

Jayden is walking! - 9th August 2003

Finally, after a long long wait, my little fellow is walking ! Jayden had been toddling around for weeks clinging on to our fingers, but refused to let go of our hands, no matter how much coaxing and encouragement. His walking was already quite stable, so we could only guess that he just couldn't overcome his own fear for falling. On the morning of National Day, the little one was somehow in a good mood and decided to give it a try. He walked for a good ten or so steps without tumbling. I was elated to see him finally walking unaided for the first time ! And the funny thing was, he kept wanting to walk as if he couldn't get enough of it. All of us had such a good laugh !

First Haircut - 10th August 2003

We brought Jayden to the barber at night - his first visit since birth. Obviously, he didn't like his hair being messed with, and cried inconsolably during the session !
