Flu bug
What I initially thought was a wee bit of stuffy nose Jayden had has now developed into a bad flu. Accompanying the runny and sneezy nose are a phlegmy cough, a slight temperature and a grouchy mood. Fortunately, the fever went down after a dose of paracetemol. We had also put him on the runny nose medicine leftover from his last flu. Not bringing him to the paed yet. Will see how it goes. It seems like the flu bug is now spreading fast - at least 5 people from our department are now down with it. GRRRR!!! Just hope the daily dosage of vitamin C that I've dutifully been taking since SARS outbreak in April will help me to keep the bugs at bay.
