10 changes in me after children
1) I don't wear my wedding band anymore.
2) I stop manicuring my finger nails. They are now short and clean.
3) I wear my hair short and easy-to-manage (It's only recently I start growing it shoulder-length).
4) I cut down on late night TV. I'm zonked out by the time the kids sleep.
5) When I shop, I go to the kids' department first.
6) The heels of my shoes are no more than 1 inch. I can't imagine lugging the kids around in 3-inchers.
7) I apply the lipstick only after leaving the house, so that I can kiss them goodbye without leaving a mark.
8) I know more nursery rhymes than pop songs.
9) I've become a light sleeper, and wake up at their slightest stir.
10) I'm 2 sizes larger than pre-kids days, but couldn't care less.
