Hi-5 show
Finally, after a few months of long wait, the day had arrived. It's the day for the Hi-5 show ! Jolyne had been a big fan of theirs since 3 years old. We've been to the show last year too. She thoroughly enjoyed it, so I voluntarily bought her the tickets this year again. But I just bought 2 tickets for me and her, 'cos I thought Jayden would be too young for it, and KA is not keen at all (plus he's studying for his exams).
I took a whole day's off yesterday. Before the concert, we went to the Spongebob Squarepants live show at Suntec City. Frankly, I couldn't understand why the kids would go ga-ga over a piece of yellow sponge. *LOL* But the show was pretty entertaining. And it was a good thing that the crowd wasn't big since it was a weekday.
We attended the Hi-5 show at 3pm. We got ourselves the 5th row, which set me back at S$49 each - pretty expensive for a kids' show, I'd say. But it was well worth it. Jolyne sang, danced , jumped and laughed with the Hi-5 gang the whole hour long, totally enjoying herself. Overall, we had good fun. But I thought they should include more of their old songs, as, looking at the response from the audience, many weren't familiar with the newer songs.
Went to the Mothercare sales too, and came out $175 poorer. I hadn't gone so crazy for a long long time, and boy, it felt so ... GOOD!!! :)
