Fridayfive on a Saturday
This is the first FridayFive of 2004 :
What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .
1. ...today?
If nothing goes wrong, we'll be heading down to Chinatown to watch the lighting of the fire crackers at 7pm. It has been banned for more than 30 years in Singapore since 1970. I sure am looking forward to witness this historical moment !
2. ...over the next week?
Preparing for Chinese New Year. CNY is less than 20 days away, so I think we should start getting ready. Will need to spring-clean the house, stock up on the goodies, and shop for new clothings (Shopping! Yippee!).
3. ...this year?
This year I'm likely to make at least one trip to UK for work. Our UK project is not starting till April, but already my boss is asking me to get prepared. Exciting as can be, I'm not exactly looking forward to be separated from my kiddos for too long. I sure miss them like hell.
4. ...over the next five years?
I hope KA's career will fly so that I can quit working and be a tai-tai. Heh, just dreaming. Seriously, I want to slow things down and enjoy life. My life is too work-centric for the past ten long years. Ideally, I would like to work less hours and focus more on my family.
5. ...for the rest of your life?
Be happy, healthy and wealthy. Really, especially the last one ;)
