She's ok
Visited mom-in-law in the hospital yesterday.
She had a MRI and a ECG scans for the head and the heart respectively. Thanks to our lucky stars, the stroke in her head that morning was not a major one (no bleeding), though it was at a main blood vessel. The doc said she was lucky to be the one in ten of thousands stroke victims at a crucial position to escape unscathed - that she attributed to the Chinese medicine that she had been taking regularly. As for the growth in the brain, it was confirmed to be back. The doc informed us that it was nothing alarming, and also not advisable to do anything yet right after the stroke.
Mom-in-law looked fine, only a little tired. KA wasn't quite happy about the B2 ward - with 6 patients and no air-con, it could get fairly noisy and stuffy. What we need for her now is a quiet rest, which we wonder if she can get with visitors bustling around. But there is no B1 bed available, so we will have to wait to get her transfer.
So much for now. Don't feel like writing, my headache is killing me.
