A list of happy things
My blog seems to get more and more depressing each day, so I'm going to make a list of happy things here to remind myself to be happy :

1) Just checked my bank account, my bonus is finally here! I'm going to buy lots of nice pressies to reward myself of a year's of hard work. Yay!

2) Venus is postponing her home leave to end of March. This, at least, gives me more time to make plans.

3) I found out that the childcare centre that Jolyne previously attended (and closed down due to lack of students) is back in operation and manage by the same principal. The good thing is : the centre is a stone's throw away from our house, and we are really comfortable with the principal's style. So if we really can't find a good temporary replacement helper, at least now I know where to send Jayden to.

4) The SSO concert that we attended last night was excellent. French violinist Pierre Amoyal was simply brilliant! I enjoyed the performance thoroughly. A little joke : when I asked Jolyne after the concert if she knew why the guest violinist was standing during his performance, guess what she said - because he was late and there was no more seats! Kids! Don't you just love 'em!

5) I have been rather anxious about Jayden's late speech development, but just now, when I was mentally making a list of his vocabulary, hey, it's not so bad after all! The list : papa, mama, ah-ma (grandma), ah-gong (grandpa), jie-jie (sister), up, ish (fish), book, bye-bye, night-night, no, yes, no more, head, egg, dog, ball, walk, hua (flower), hao (good), banana, apple, barney (ack!), ta (star), moon, chair, bus ... I think there are more.

See, my life is not as gloomy as I thought!
