First Anniversary
Today marks the first anniversary of this weblog. I mean, WOW! I can't believe I've written for one year! I started this off with the intention of tracking Jayden's growth online. On the way, I strayed and wrote a whole lot of other stuff, mainly noteworthy happenings in the family, along with my personal observations, thoughts, grouses, braggings and other miscellaneous junks.

I have to confess that I'm still a private person. I value confidentiality, so most of my entries were carefully edited before I published. What you read is probably less than a tenth of the real me and my real life. I work in the IT industry long enough to know of the consequence of revealing myself too much in the cyberspace.

So why do I still write, you may ask. Having said the above, I do enjoy blogging. This weblog triggers my interest in writing. Looking back, my old entries were really crappy. Not that I'm an excellent writer now, but I'm more conscientious of my grammar. I'm pleased to be more fluent in articulating my thoughts in writing now than before. I also find pleasure in recording the special moments of my life here which allows myself to be able to re-read it again and again. Most of all, I enjoy sharing these moments with those who read it and talk back to me. You guys are one big motivator for me to write on till now.

I've plans to revamp this weblog and move away from blogspot because of its lack of many features compare to other platforms. It will be a site devoted to our families (together with my brother Vic and sister Anna). But really, I have no idea when it will happen. We've even gone as far as registering a domain name for it, but yet to sit down and put things together. (Vic, if you are reading this, heheh...)

Meanwhile, as long as I can, I will continue to write. Happy blog anniversary to me.

P/S : For people who read this on a regular basis, please say 'hi' to me. I really would like to know who you are.
