New Helper and My Trip
Our new helper arrived on Friday evening. She seems to be rather experienced and quick in her tasks, but then it's too early to tell. Right now, my priority is to make sure Jayden get used to her quickly so that I can leave for UK with peace in mind.
Speaking of the trip, I'll be leaving this Sunday. I actually wanted to make the preparation over the weekend, but was hit by a terrible ache all over my body. I thought I'm getting the dreadful flu that all else in my office are down with, but strangely there isn't other symptom. Now that the weekend was over, I'm still stuck with one whole long list of to-dos, so I guess this is going to be a terribly busy week for me.
This is my first long overseas business trip, and boy, am I nervous! The thought of being away from my family and all for three weeks is just too frightening. I'm going to miss them very very badly.
I suck at trip planning. For a start, I don't know how much warm clothings to bring. The weather there seems rather cold (7-12 degrees Celsius), but then it's the beginning of spring, so the temperature should get warmer soon right? But then if I didn't bring enough, would I be frozen? Where to buy a nice warm coat? And should I get myself a pair of boots? Plus I've to bring enough business and casual wear too because heard from colleague that the laundry service there is rather slow. I think my luggage will be overweight. Ughh.
Anyone wants me to get anything from England?
