Scared
I was deeply saddened to learn that a mummy from M4M forum, Mandy, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. At the same time, the news send shivers down my spine on my own health. My period has been irregular for the last couple of months, yet I've been ignoring the message that my own body is trying to send me. Call me a coward, but the thought of a medical check-up always give me shudders. On the other hand, I know I shouldn't delay it anymore. Finally, after convincing myself that things can't be that bad, I summoned enough courage to make an appointment with my gynaecologist for a long-overdue pap smear this Thursday.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
